A survey of 1,500 drivers found that almost two thirds is beating the credit crunch by using their cars less or adjust your driving style, many put their car insurance the risk just to save money. The results of the survey showed that 22 percent would consider lying to an insurance company about the exact nature of where you parked the car, while 28 percent would withhold information about your annual kilometers to save money. Approximately 10 percent of drivers are considered false, even on the actual value of your vehicle and the nature of its use. It may seem understandable that drivers try to pound as the global economic crisis continues to save its toll. However, the consequences could be far reaching. Omitting important information or lying on a policy is considered insurance fraud and, as such, is almost certainly invalidate the claim. While saving money is important, at the cost of car insurance should not be seen as a solution. Instead, drivers will be aware and look for other ways to save. The key to making car insurance savings should proactively. Do not have a policy for years and years – the store about every 12 months and compare policies online with a comparison site to ensure you a competitive deal. Even if you stuck with an insurer because their contract has enough time to walk can still save. Call the insurance company to recommend the alarm, immobilisers or tracking devices – you might save enough on your premiums in 12 months at the cost of some of these devices to cover. Pay your annual premiums, if possible cut interest costs and increase the possibility of voluntary excess as this should save money.
